It was co-sponsored by the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries, the Central Committee of the DPRK-China Friendship Association, the Ministry of Culture of China and the Chinese embassy.

Among the audience were DPRK Minister of Public Health Kang Ha Guk who doubles as chairman of the Central Committee of the DPRK-China Friendship Association, officials concerned, Chinese Ambassador Li Jinjun and staff members of the Chinese embassy.

Speeches were made before the concert.

Members of the delegation of culture and arts of Dandong City, China staged diverse numbers such as immortal classic "Where Are You, Dear General?", female solo "Attraction" and female solo and dance "Beautiful China".

The performers represented boundless reverence for Kim Jong Il and respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un and the patriotic will and national emotion of the Chinese people.

The concert was acclaimed by the audience.
