Day of Sun, Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Congo

| Pyongyang, February 11 (KCNA) -- A Congolese preparatory committee was formed on January 30 to celebrate the Day of the Sun and the Day of the Shining Star, birth anniversaries of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il. Vital Balla, chairman of the Congolese Association for Friendship among Peoples, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee decided to give wide publicity to the revolutionary careers and exploits of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and greatness of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un and organize various political and cultural events such as meeting, lecture and film show in the period between February 1 and April 15. |
