Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Russia

| Pyongyang, February 11 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee for celebrating the Day of the Shining Star, birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il, was jointly formed by the Korean War Veterans' Council of Russia and a regional social organization "Borozino" on February 1. C. M. Kramarenko, chairman of the council, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The committee set the celebration period from February 1 to 16 and decided to organize various political and cultural events praising the revolutionary career and exploits of Kim Jong Il. |
