Japanese Government's Discrimination against Korean Schools Accused in S. Korea
Pyongyang, February 12 (KCNA) -- The Bar Association for Democratic Society of south Korea reportedly issued a statement on Feb. 10 in protest against a discriminative decision made by the Osaka District Court of Japan against the Korean schools.

The statement said that the Korean schools are for Korean students in Japan as they were established to preserve their language and culture.

It disclosed that the Japanese government included other foreign schools in the list of the tuition-free program but excluded the Korean schools for political reason and made a decision of suspending the payment of the subsidies to Korean schools.

It said the above-said acts are clear discrimination against the Korean students in Japan, urging the Japanese government to stop such an act.
