Kim Jong Il's Birth Anniversary Marked in China, Nepal
Pyongyang, February 13 (KCNA) -- A remembrance meeting and a film show took place in China on February 4 and a joint seminar, a photo and book exhibition and a film show in Nepal on Feb. 8 to mark the 75th birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il.

On display in the venue of the exhibition were photos showing the feats of President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

There were also works of the great men of Mt Paektu and books and photos introducing the army and people of the DPRK in the efforts to open the great heyday of building a socialist power.

"Flag of the Workers' Party of Korea", "Fireworks of a Thriving Nation" and other Korean films were shown.

Attending the events were officials of the China Association for International Friendly Contact, families of Chinese related to the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle, veterans of the Chinese People's Volunteers and their children, and personages of Nepali political parties, organizations, press organs and Juche idea study organizations, including the Communist Party (Marxist-Leninist), the Afro-Asian People's Solidarity Committee and the Journalist Association for the Study of the Juche Idea and Songun Politics, and masses.
