Ri mentioned the DPRK government's principled stand to glorify and develop through generations to come the history of friendship between the two countries, provided under the fraternal relationship forged between President Kim Il Sung and great King Norodom Sihanouk.

He hoped that the bilateral relations of friendship and cooperation would further strengthen in various fields.

The Cambodian ambassador said that the relationship between the two countries is the historic ties of friendship forged personally by the great King Norodom Sihanouk and President Kim Il Sung and it is the consistent stand of the Cambodian government to carry forward and develop this precious tradition.

He added that he would always cherish the friendly feelings of the DPRK government and people toward the Cambodian government and people and continue to strive for the development of the bilateral relations of friendship and cooperation.
