Birth Anniversary of Kim Jong Il Marked by Swiss Organizations

| Pyongyang, February 16 (KCNA) -- The Swiss Preparatory Committee for Gathering 2017-Praise to the Great Persons of Mt Paektu, the Swiss preparatory committee for celebrating the 75th birth anniversary of Generalissimo Kim Jong Il, the Switzerland-Korea Committee and the Swiss Group for the Study of the Juche Idea issued a joint statement on Feb. 4 on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Kim Jong Il. The statement said that Kim Jong Il led the Arduous March, forced march, to victory, turning the DPRK into an impregnable socialist fortress with tremendous nuclear force and making an immortal contribution to accomplishing the cause of national reunification It noted that the Korean people miss Kim Jong Il very much and are holding him in high esteem. It pointed out that the friends of the DPRK and the followers of Juche idea and Songun idea are organizing political and cultural events with splendor to praise the feats Kim Jong Il performed for the global cause of independence. The DPRK has a rosy future, it added. |
