The participants laid a floral basket before the statues of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il in Nampho City and paid tribute to them.

Present at the meeting were captains and crewmen of Panama-flagged ship and China Taipei-flagged ship Zhang Hong 1.

Speakers said that Kim Jong Il turned the DPRK into a nuclear power and space power in the East and led the cause of global independence to victory.

They noted that Kim Jong Il will always be alive in the hearts of the Korean people and the world progressives and his revolutionary history will last forever along with the prosperity of Kim Il Sung's nation and Kim Jong Il's Korea.

They wished the Korean people bigger successes in their struggle for building a powerful socialist country under the guidance of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

A letter to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting.
