21st Kimjongilia Festival On-going in Pyongyang
Pyongyang, February 16 (KCNA) -- The 21st Kimjongilia Festival is going on with large attendance in Pyongyang.

Since its opening, a great number of people have visited the venue of the festival every day. On February 16 alone, the birthday of leader Kim Jong Il, more than a hundred thousand people visited there.

What draws visitors' attention in the festival is a display stand prepared by the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries. Put on its stand are 250 potted Kimjongilias presented by over 50 bodies of foreign countries, including the Asia-Pacific Regional Preparatory Committee for the 2017 Meeting Praising Great Persons of Mt. Paektu and Kim Jong Il Kindergarten in Mongolia.

The General Bureau for Affairs with Diplomatic Corps represents the red flag by 300 potted Kimjongilias with the portrait of smiling Kim Jong Il on its centre. Among those flowers are nearly 80 potted Kimjongilias sent by the president of the Syrian Arab Republic, the general secretary of the C.C., the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and diplomatic missions of various countries and international bodies here.

The Korean Overseas Exhibition General Bureau decorates its stand with 200 potted Kimjongilias against the model Tower of the Juche Idea.

Visiting the venue of the festival, people have keenly felt that Kim Jong Il always lives as the sun in the hearts of the Korean people and humankind.
