An assembly of the Council was held at the Hugo Rafael Chavez Frias conference room on Feb. 10 to convey the order.

The assembly adopted a decision of the Council "On awarding the highest order of the State Legislative Council 'Colonel Jose Joaquin Veroes' to Comrade Kim Jong Il, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission and eternal leader of the Korean people".

The chairman of the Council conveyed the order and decision to the DPRK ambassador to Venezuela.
