Songs in Praise of Great Men and WPK

Pyongyang, February 17 (KCNA) -- Since the demise of leader Kim Jong Il in December Juche 100 (2011), many famous songs have been created in the DPRK, which reflect the will of the army and people to hold Kim Jong Il in high esteem forever and carry forward the revolutionary cause of Songun (military-first) through generations under the guidance of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

The song "The General Is Immortal as the Sun" highly praises the great life of Kim Jong Il who performed immortal feats for the times and revolution with his unusual wisdom, outstanding leadership ability and noble personality.

Songs "Endless Is Our Yearning", "Glory of Our Life" and "People Are of a Single Mind" show well the ardent yearning of the servicepersons and people for Kim Jong Il and their firm faith and will to always share the destiny with the Worker's Party of Korea (WPK).

Many songs in praise of Kim Jong Un and the WPK have also been created. They include "Our Comrade Kim Jong Un", "Cheers of the People", "Our Dear Marshal", "With Thee Forever, Party Flag" and "We Love Party Flag".

"We Will Go to Mt. Paektu", "Let's Keep the Revolutionary Faith to the Death", "Our Faith", "We Are Mallima Riders" and "Advancing Socialism" and other songs vividly represent the stamina of the heroic Korean people who are dynamically advancing along the road of victory for socialism, bringing Kim Jong Il's behests into full materialization on this land.
