Among the audience were senior party, state and army officials, officials of party and armed forces bodies, working people's organizations, ministries and national institutions, service personnel of the Korean People's Army and the Korean People's Internal Security Forces, those of institutions, factories and enterprises and labor innovators in Pyongyang.

A congratulatory group of Koreans in Japan and other overseas compatriots' congratulatory groups, delegations of overseas Koreans, overseas Koreans and the chief of the Pyongyang mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front enjoyed the performance. Present there on invitation were foreign diplomatic envoys, representatives of international organizations and military attaches of foreign embassies here and their spouses and foreign guests.

The performance began with narration and music "Song of General Kim Jong Il", immortal revolutionary hymn.

Put on the stage were colorful numbers such as female duet and female chorus "Snow-covered Birthplace" and bayan quintet "Our General Is the Best".

The performers sang high praises of the revolutionary career of Kim Jong Il who recorded the sacred history of people-first principle on this land, glorifying the long course of the Juche revolution with proud victory and glory.

Also put on the stage were numbers representing the jubilation of the army and people of the DPRK accelerating the victorious advance of socialism under the uplifted banner of the self-development-first principle, holding respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un in high esteem.
