Performance Given by Members of Art Group of Schoolchildren's Palace

| Pyongyang, February 17 (KCNA) -- A performance was given by members of the art group of the schoolchildren's palace at the Mangyongdae Schoolchildren's Palace on Thursday, the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star). Among the audience were Jon Yong Nam, first secretary of the C.C., youth league, officials concerned, officials of the youth league, etc. The performance began with a prelude "Fireworks in the Sky above Jong Il Peak". Put on the stage were instrumental ensemble "The Care of My Motherland," an immortal classic masterpiece, folklore chorus "Our strength Is the Best" and other numbers. The performers impressively represented the yearning and reverence of all the schoolchildren for Kim Jong Il. |
