Among those present were Chairman Ho Jong Man, vice-chairpersons Nam Sung U, Pae Ik Ju, Pae Jin Gu, O Min Hak and Kang Chu Ryon of the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon), Chairman of the Chongryon Central Audit Committee Hong In Hum, and leading officials of Chongryon organizations and businesses, chairpersons of Chongryon headquarters in Kanto and other Chongryon officials and compatriots and teaching staff and students of Korean University.

Ho Jong Man in his report at the meeting paid highest tribute and best wishes of immortality to Kim Jong Il, eternal teacher of Chongryon and tender-hearted father of Koreans in Japan, in reflection of reverence of all the Chongryon officials and compatriots in Japan.

Kim Jong Il is a prominent leader of Chongryon and the benevolent father of Koreans in Japan as he guaranteed their happiness and opened up the bright future of generations to come, the reporter said.

The reporter noted that respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un has bestowed upon Chongryon and Koreans in Japan all loving care just as Kim Jong Il did although he is very busy leading the building of a socialist power and the confrontation with the U.S.

He stressed the importance to give steady continuity to the history of warm feelings and bonds the great Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il forged with Korean residents in Japan.

The reporter called for maintaining the principle of patriotism and loyalty under the leadership of Kim Jong Un and thus further displaying the might of Chongryon which has grown under the care of the great leaders.

A letter to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting.
