No THAAD Actions Waged in S. Korea

Pyongyang, February 20 (KCNA) -- The Songju Committee for Struggle against THAAD Deployment, Kimchon Citizens Measure Committee against THAAD Deployment, Songju Emergency Measure Committee for Defending Holy Land of Won Buddhism and the Action for Checking THAAD Deployment in south Korea reportedly staged an action against THAAD deployment in Seoul on Feb. 18.

The organizations held a rally in front of Kwanghwamun.

Speakers at the rally said that THAAD is not only disturbing peace on the Korean peninsula but bringing an economic crisis to south Korea, adding it is the way for preserving peace and tiding over the crisis to check its deployment.

A resolution, read out at the rally, contended that the authorities should comply with the demand of the candlelight rallies and halt at once the scheme for THAAD deployment and totally nullify the agreement on it.
