Sit-in Strike Staged Again in S. Korea

| Pyongyang, February 20 (KCNA) -- The Emergency Measure Committee for South-North Economic Cooperation Businesses in south Korea staged another sit-in strike in protest against the puppet regime which has turned aside the payment of damages incurred by the suspension of the inter-Korean relations, according to the south Korean Internet newspaper Tongil News. The protestors held a news conference in Seoul on Feb. 16. Speakers recalled that enterprises for south-north economic cooperation had already staged a 100-day sit-in strike in demand of the payment of damages caused by the suspension of the tour of Mt. Kumgang pursuant to the authorities' "May 24 measure". They declared that the sit-in strike would continue till the authorities have promptly paid prompt and adequate damages. |
