The U.S. and other forces hostile toward the DPRK published a press release in which they threatened to take "additional and crucial measure" while faulting the test-fire as "violation of resolution", the statement noted, saying that all the members of the Federation can hardly repress their surging indignation at this.

The test-fire was a measure for self-defence to firmly defend the sovereignty of the country and the right to existence of the nation from a nuclear war threat posed by the U.S. and its vassal forces and ensure the peace and security on the Korean peninsula, it said.

The statement charged that the UN Security Council is taking issue with the right to self-defence of the DPRK, a sovereign state, after labeling its nuclear test and test-fire of strategic ballistic rocket as "illegal" under the pressure of the U.S.

We do not acknowledge the UN "resolution" which brands the DPRK's nuclear test and test-fire of strategic ballistic rocket as "illegal", it declared, adding:

We will fight it out against the U.S. imperialists and their followers, not pardoning any action of them slandering the DPRK's step for self-defence.
