Talks between Chairman of DPRK Supreme People's Assembly and Speaker of Iranian Majilis Held

| Pyongyang, February 20 (KCNA) -- There took place talks between Choe Thae Bok, chairman of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, and Ali Larijani, speaker of the Iranian Majilis, on February 19 at the Majilis building. Choe is leading the SPA delegation on an official visit to Iran. Present at the talks from the DPRK side were members of the SPA delegation and the DPRK ambassador to Iran, and from the Iranian side were members of the Iran-DPRK Friendship Parliamentary Group and an official concerned of the Foreign Ministry. At the talks the two sides exchanged their opinions on further boosting the friendly and cooperative relations between the SPA and the Majilis and other matters of mutual concern. That day the SPA delegation was invited to a reception hosted by the speaker of the Iranian Majilis. |
