Kim Jong Il Lauded by Swiss Organizations

Pyongyang, February 22 (KCNA) -- The Swiss preparatory committee for celebrating the 75th birth anniversary of Generalissimo Kim Jong Il, Swiss Preparatory Committee for Gathering 2017-Praise to the Great Persons of Mt Paektu, Switzerland-Korea Committee and the Swiss Group for the Study of the Juche Idea issued a joint statement on Feb. 4 to mark the 5th anniversary of the awarding of the title of DPRK Generalissimo to leader Kim Jong Il.

The statement said:

Five years ago the Korean people awarded the title of DPRK Generalissimo to leader Kim Jong Il on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star, his birth anniversary.

Generalissimo Kim Jong Il is a legendary brilliant commander of Mt Paektu as he had smashed the U.S. imperialists and their followers' moves for stifling the DPRK.

With his Songun politics, he turned the DPRK into an impregnable fortress and made it demonstrate its might as a space power and a nuclear weapons state and defended peace and security on the Korean Peninsula.

He also made immortal contributions to the cause of national reunification.

All the successes registered in the DPRK are attributable to the Songun politics pursued by him.

We extend eternal glory to Generalissimo Kim Jong Il, the Songun brilliant commander of Mt Paektu.
