On display at the exhibition were photos showing the exploits of leader Kim Jong Il and respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

There were also works of the peerlessly great men of Mt Paektu and books and photos introducing the Korean army and people in the struggle to usher in a golden age of building a socialist power.

Such Korean films as "The Country Shining with Arms of Mt Paektu" were shown.

Present at the events were personages of different social strata and masses.

Sazhi Umalatova, chairwoman of the Party for Peace and Unity of Russia, said that Kim Jong Il was an outstanding brilliant commander, a genuine patriot and a great guardian of justice and peace.

Dolgachev, first secretary of the Maritime Territorial Regional Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, said that Kim Jong Il visited Russia several times for the strengthening of the Russia-DPRK friendship, adding that the Russian people are cherishing the precious memories of him.

Vadim Kudimin, director of the Russian Institute of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, said that he heard from preceding generations a lot about President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and about socialist Korea, the most genuine paradise for the people on the planet, and in the course came to ardently admire them.

Elena Bavichi, chairwoman of the Kim Jong Suk Women's Union of Russia, said that she would constantly keep the reverence for Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

Andrei Dmitriyev, chairman of the All-Russian Society for the Study and Dissemination of Kimilsungism, said that he would bear in mind the august names of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and widely disseminate their works.

Khmelyov, first secretary of the Partizansk City Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation who is member of the Legislative Assembly of Maritime Territory, and other personages said they looked back with deep emotion upon the undying feats of Kim Jong Il on the occasion of his birth anniversary.
