On display at the venues of the exhibitions were hundreds of potted Kimjongilias, works of the peerlessly great men of Mt Paektu and books and photos showing the situation in the DPRK.

Present at the opening ceremonies were personages and masses in those countries.

The mayor of Partizansk of Russia said the progressive people are boundlessly revering Comrade Kim Jong Il, an incarnation of peace and love, adding he keenly realized the noble personality of the peerlessly great men through the fact that the friends of the Korean people are cultivating Kimjongilias with much care.

The first secretary of the Partizansk City Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation who is member of the Maritime Territorial Legislative Assembly of Russia said he more deeply realized the personality of Kim Jong Il as a great man possessed of boundless tenderness while seeing Kimjongilias in full bloom despite the biting cold in the Far East.

The chief of the Dalian City Flower Association said it is of great significance to hold the exhibition to mark the birth anniversary of General Kim Jong Il, reiterating the will to widely disseminate the immortal flower.

The chairperson of the Kimjongilia Association of Mongolia praised Kim Jong Il as a patriot who dedicated himself to the happiness of the people and reunification of the country till the last moments of his life.
