After a wreath in the name of the Russian embassy was placed at Liberation Tower, the participants paid silent tribute to the fallen fighters of the Soviet Army. Then they looked round the tower.

They also laid a wreath and flowers at the cemetery of fallen fighters of the Soviet Army in Sadong District.

Earlier, officials of the embassy placed bouquets at the statues of Soviet soldiers and liberation towers in Nampho and Haeju cities.

Meanwhile, members of the Russian consulate general in Chongjin laid wreaths at the liberation tower and the cemetery of the fallen fighters of the Soviet Army in the city.
