DPRK Foreign Minister Meets Iranian Ambassador
Pyongyang, February 23 (KCNA) -- Ri Yong Ho, foreign minister of the DPRK, met and had a talk with new Iranian Ambassador to the DPRK Seyed Mohsen Emadi who paid a courtesy call on him on Thursday.

The foreign minister expressed his belief that the relations between the two countries would grow stronger, referring to the validity and vitality of the Workers' Party of Korea's strategic line of simultaneously pushing forward the economic construction and the building of nuclear force.

The Iranian ambassador said that they are pleased to see the bilateral relations, provided by the preceding leaders of the two countries, steadily developing on good terms under the deep care of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

He said that he would strive to develop the Iran-DPRK relations in politics, economy, culture and other fields during his tenure of office, noting that the two countries are closely cooperating with each other against the arbitrary and high-handed practices of the U.S. and other Western countries in the international arena, including the UN.

Present there were officials of the Foreign Ministry of the DPRK and a member of the Iranian embassy.
