S. Korean Body Declares 48-Hour Emergency Action

Pyongyang, February 24 (KCNA) -- The emergency people's action for the resignation of the Park Geun Hye regime in south Korea held a press conference in Seoul on Thursday at which it declared the launch of "48-hour emergency action for impeachment and arrest of Park Geun Hye! Extension of special investigation!", according to the south Korean online paper Tongil News.

The 48-hour emergency action is launched to achieve bigger victory ahead of the impeachment of Park Geun Hye, the organization said.

At the end of the press conference, the organization began the emergency action by staging a march toward the "government" building and the "Constitutional Court" in demand of the extension of the period for special investigation and early trial for Park's impeachment.

Youth and students, workers and other masses will reportedly join in the action.
