Much upset by this, Chongwadae and those of the defense counsel hired by Park are absurdly insisting that the final pleadings at the "Constitutional Court" should be delayed, talking about "adequate inquiry" and "impartiality." They are running the whole gamut of tricks such as far-fetched assertions, chicanery and intimidation in a cunning bid to delay the impeachment trial, claiming that they would not rule out the resignation of all members of the defense counsel and Park might make a personal statement at the trial.

A spokesman for the National Reconciliation Council (NRC) in a statement on Friday said the strong waves of the all-people resistance sweeping south Korea is an eruption of pent-up grudge and indignation against the Park group of traitors that has been hell-bent on fascist dictatorship, unpopular politics, sycophancy toward big powers and confrontation with the compatriots in the north.

The statement went on:

Park and her accomplices are holding confabs at a back room of Chongwadae every day, where they call for applying for witnesses in addition and pressurizing the special investigation team and the "Constitutional Court." They are running helter-skelter as the end of traitor Park is imminent.

The ultra-right conservative group's moves against impeachment are no more than a poor and mean farce of betes noires blowing hot and cold, unable to judge what is right or wrong. They are just criminals hired by Park Geun Hye and Choe Sun Sil.

Impeachment of Park is an inevitability of history, requirement of the times and demand of the public.

The miserable doom of Park has already been sealed and the conservative group is fated to meet total destruction.

No force on earth can quell the strong aspiration and desire of south Koreans of various circles to terminate all sorts of injustice and bring about a new world.

The pubic mindset precisely means justice and those going against it are bound to be buried at the grave of history.

The group of traitors should properly understand that with no last-ditch efforts can they escape their miserable fate already sealed.
