The editorial says that it is the intention of the Workers' Party of Korea to bring about a great leap forward and innovations in every work site for building a socialist power by waging a drive for uninterrupted innovations and progress through a vigorous ideological campaign.

It goes on:

The whole course of the Korean revolution was a history of the ideological campaign for fully displaying the might of truth taught by the revolutionary idea of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il. The army and people of the DPRK defeated the imperialist formidable enemies by dint of ideology, built a socialist country, independent, self-supporting and self-reliant, with its strength and opened an avenue to building a socialist power by dint of it. It is socialist Korea which has won victories only while grasping the revolutionary idea of the leader as the lifeline and bringing about giant creations and changes through the steady ideological campaign.

The WPK is dynamically advancing the cause of building a socialist power by giving full rein to the mental power of all servicepersons and civilians through a revolutionary ideological offensive under the unfurled banner of modeling the whole society on Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism. The importance of the ideological work was underscored again and reconfirmed, a revolutionary turn was effected on the front of the Party ideological work and the DPRK's politico-ideological base markedly grew stronger with the 8th Conference of Ideological Workers of the WPK as a momentum.

The cause of the Korean revolution is sure to triumph as it is advancing by dint of ideology, concludes the editorial.
