Noting that the Foreign Ministry sent an official notice demanding the removal of the girl statue in front of the Japanese consulate general in Pusan, talking about international practice, the statement said:

The Foreign Ministry does not make positive efforts for human rights of south Korean people but violates international practice by demanding the removal of the girl statue under the pressure of the Japanese government.
