Campaign for Legislation against Discrimination Declared in S. Korea

Pyongyang, February 25 (KCNA) -- The Solidarity for Legislation against Discrimination, grouping more than 40 labor movement organizations in south Korea, declared a campaign for legislation against discrimination on Feb. 23, according to the south Korean paper Nodong and Segye.

A press conference was called in Seoul in this regard.

Speakers at the conference noted that the labor circle has struggled for such legislation for one decade.

They said that the survey results made public by the "Human Rights Committee" showed that part-timers, the disabled and women have been subject to the most unbearable discrimination in the society.
