Its government said that it would shape a detailed counter plan through the quick examination of the introduction of new-type hardware to strengthen the alert posture for interception and reflect it in its 2019-2023 Midterm Defense Adjustment Plan.

It was reported that according to it, the Japanese Ministry of Defense would soon start the examination of the introduction of new-type hardware at the committee for building the combined mobilization defense capability.

Meanwhile, the naval general staff of the Ministry of Defense announced that it would conduct a mock drill aimed at improving the alert posture for launching a missile and interception to cope with the threat from the DPRK's ballistic missiles together with the 7th Fleet of the U.S. Navy.

The moves stepped up by Japan in the wake of the DPRK's test-fire of Pukguksong-2 are being ridiculed by the world community as foolish attempts to cover its ambition for overseas invasion under the pretext of the former's missile test-fire.

Since its defeat, Japan has remained unchanged in its ambition for overseas invasion.

Japan has systematically increased its military spending under the pretext of acquiring military muscle commensurate with its economic potential, thus becoming the country with the highest speed in the growth of military spending in the world.

At the end of last year the Japanese Mainichi Shimbun reported that the government decided to allot five trillion and a hundred billion yen as military spending in the budget for the fiscal 2017.

Under the present Abe regime Japan's ambition for emerging a military giant and launching overseas aggression reached the climax. The scale of military hardware of the "Self-Defense Forces" (SDF) is as large as that of world military powers. Japan is capable of manufacturing nuclear weapons any time it wants and has even means for their delivery in place.

The operational sphere of the "SDF" has no geographical limit. According to the revised Japan-U.S. Defence Cooperation Guidelines, it was expanded worldwide.

The SDF has completely turned into the offensive-type armed forces for aggression.

The DPRK is its primary target. It is the calculation of Japan to attain the position of the leading power in Asia even by offering its whole archipelago as an advance base of the U.S. for invading the continent while zealously following the U.S. hostile policy towards the DPRK.

The Japanese reactionaries, however, should not miscalculate.

Asia today is no longer what used to be in the past and Korea, once trampled underfoot by Japan as a distress-torn land, has attained the proud position of a nuclear power in the East.

The world including Northeast Asia will never remain a passive onlooker to Japan's moves for overseas aggression.
