Present there were Ho Jong Man, chairman of the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon), Kim Yong Ju, chairman of the Central Standing Committee of the Korean Youth League in Japan, chairmen of the Headquarters of the youth league in different parts of Japan and officials of the league.

At the meeting Ho Jong Man stressed the need for the Korean Youth League in Japan to carry through the tasks set forth by respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un in his New Year Address and New Year message and thus display patriotism and loyalty and consolidate its branches as a bulwark of patriotism.

He called upon the league officials to firmly prepare themselves as those strong in faith and reserves of core officials of Chongryon possessed of a high level of political and ideological preparedness, ability and revolutionary work style.
