Fermented Mung-bean Drink, Natural Health Foodstuff
Pyongyang, March 1 (KCNA) -- Many kinds of popular health foodstuffs have been produced in the DPRK.

Among them is the one made by the method of fermenting a mixture of mung-bean, milk powder and sugar with lactobacillus. As it has an effect of detoxification, it is regarded to be efficacious for malfunctions of the liver and kidney.

It also helps promote metabolism, prevent cerebral and cardiovascular system diseases, treat inflammatory diseases of the digestive system and skin diseases and recover from mental and physical fatigue. And it is believed to be good for children's growth.
