The three-storied school, built in Tongmyong-dong of Rason Area, has all conditions for education and living such as multi-function classrooms, room of children's union, labs and practice rooms, hostel, gymnasium and dining room.

Present at the ceremony were Rim Kyong Man, chairman of the Rason City Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned, teaching staff of the school, orphans, builders and working people in the city.

Jo Jong Ho, chairman of the Rason City People's Committee, made an inaugural speech.

At the end of the ceremony, orphans entered the school amid warm welcome.
