The Syria TV Channel carried photos showing Kim Jong Il's revolutionary activities and praised him for having turned the country into an invincible politico-ideological and military power despite of the U.S.-led imperialist allied forces' moves for isolation and pressure and provided the solid foundation for building a socialist power.

It also aired scenes dealing with the proud feature of Juche Korea which is making a leap forward day by day.

The Syria Radio aired special news to laud Kim Jong Il's feats.

The Syrian Arab News Agency carried his photo and said as follow:

In the whole period of his revolutionary life leader Kim Jong Il defended and glorified the exploits of President Kim Il Sung and led the DPRK to achieve greater progress and prosperity.

It is his greatest feat that he systematized the Juche idea founded by Kim Il Sung and put forward it as the guiding idea in the era of independence.

The newspaper Al Baath elaborated on his noble view on life in an article titled "Leader Kim Jong Il devoted all his life to the future of the country and people".

Newspapers Tishrin and Al Thawrah carried articles praising his exploits.
