Taekwon-Do Schools to Be Opened in DPRK
Pyongyang, March 2 (KCNA) -- Taekwon-Do schools will come into being in Pyongyang and each province of the DPRK.

According to Sok Min Chol, a section chief of the Korean Taekwon-Do Committee, the schools will open on April 1 this year.

Every school has a three-year senior course and four-year university course. The establishment of those schools is aimed at training more competent persons and primary, junior and senior secondary school teachers who are able to make contributions to further developing and disseminating Taekwon-Do, the orthodox martial art of the Korean nation.

The schools will put the main stress on the education in basic subjects and theory of Taekwon-Do and the practical training.

Big efforts are being directed to making those schools fully equipped before their opening.
