DPRK FM Delegation Meets Officials of Chinese FM

Pyongyang, March 2 (KCNA) -- A delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the DPRK led by Vice-Minister Ri Kil Song met Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China Wang Yi and met and had talks with Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs of China Liu Zhenmin and an assistant to the foreign minister respectively during its visit to China.

Both sides were unanimous in saying that the DPRK-China friendship was personally provided and boosted by the leaders of the elder generation of the two countries and that it is also the friendship sealed in blood by the peoples of the two countries in the common struggle against imperialism.

And they shared views that it is in line with the interests of both sides to develop the DPRK-China friendship, common treasure of the peoples of the two countries, generation after generation, and made a deep discussion on the issues of boosting the bilateral friendly relations.

Both sides had a candid exchange of opinions on the issues of mutual concern including the situation on the Korean peninsula.
