Protest Action Staged in Taejon of S. Korea

| Pyongyang, March 3 (KCNA) -- Members of organizations and other citizens of different social standings in Taejon of south Korea staged a protest action on Wednesday, the 98th anniversary of the March First Popular Uprising, according to the south Korean internet paper Tongil News. The participants deplored that nearly a century has passed since the popular uprising but Korea has not achieved the complete independence. They demanded that the authorities totally scrap the "agreements" with Japan on the sexual slavery issue and protecting military intelligence and opt for achieving peace on the Korean peninsula. |
