Nothing Can Quench Candlelight of S. Koreans: KCNA Commentary
Pyongyang, March 4 (KCNA) -- A rally to counter the people's candlelight rally was held in south Korea, stunning the world people.

Whenever south Koreans from all walks of life hold candlelight rallies, the old fanatics of such ultra-right group of conservatives as the "General Federation for Freedom" and "Oboi Association" and philistines keen on earning a few pennies hold a rally to counter them.

The ruthless gangsters brand the people's candlelight rallies as "riot of the Reds" and even encourage Park Geun Hye more dead than alive to cheer herself up.

They trumpet about "retraction of impeachment motion", "stop to special investigation" and "declaration of martial law," holding high even the "Stars and Stripes."

The counter-rally of the group of ultra-right conservatives challenging the people's candlelight rally is the last-ditch efforts to check impeachment of Park Geun Hye and revive the traitorous regime that is thrown into the abyss of ruin.

The waves of candlelight actions sweeping south Korea are an eruption of the bitter wrath of the people against the group of traitors going against the demand of the people and the nation.

The candlelight rallies are attended by broad segments of people who curse and hate Park Geun Hye irrespective of affiliation, i.e. whether they belong to progressive or conservative, and region and class.

The participants in the candlelight rallies that have been waged nonstop since its start toward the end of last October number more than 14 million in total.

The sea of candlelight surrounds Chongwadae, a citadel of the reactionary rule, and shouts calling for impeachment of Park and resignation of the traitorous regime are heard nonstop.

The candlelight that do not go out despite biting cold and blizzard flares up more furiously with the approach of the trial for impeaching Park.

It is foolish and reckless for the group of conservatives to hold a rally to quench the candlelight.

Those who take part in the counter rally are philistines keen on getting a few pennies from ultra-right conservatives and old hooligans serving Park.

The ultra-rightist conservative group, backed by Chongwadae and Park's stooges, pays 20 000 to 60 000 won to those who take part in the counter rally and 150 000 won to women with baby carriages.

The conservative riff-raffs are running wild without reason just like hungry dogs driven to hunting as they have neither ability nor independent view to discern the right from the wrong.

Media at home and abroad jeer this as "last-ditch wriggling to check impeachment of Park Geun Hye", "hysteria of pseudo-religionists worshipping Park", "desperate efforts of those more dead than alive who view the world with distorted standpoint". Foreigners who witnessed it also derided the counter rally as "crazy act hardly understandable".

The frenzy of the ultra-right conservative group is the last-ditch efforts of those in fear of their imminent destruction.

The people's mindset also passed stern judgment of impeachment to Park who committed indelible crimes before the nation.

Nothing can quench the candlelight and save the ship from getting wrecked in the face of the enraged public.

The reckless ruckus of the ultra-right conservatives will only precipitate the destruction of traitor Park.
