Kim Jong Il's Exploits Praised by Foreign Figures
Pyongyang, March 7 (KCNA) -- Seminars on exploits of leader Kim Jong Il took place in the Czech Republic, France, Sri Lanka, Egypt and DR Congo between February 6 and 12 on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star, his birth anniversary.

Displayed at the venues of the seminars were photos dealing with Kim Jong Il's revolutionary career and exploits and photos dealing with revolutionary activities of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

Also on display there were works of the peerlessly great men of Mt Paektu and books and photos introducing the DPRK.

Josef Servista, deputy general secretary of the Central Committee of the Czechoslovak Communist Party and vice-chairman of the Paektusan Czech-Korean Friendship Association, said that Kim Jong Il was the eternal leader of the Korean people who defended socialism and the gains of revolution and laid the firm foundation for building a socialist power.

Guy Dupre, president of the France-Korea Friendship Association, praised Kim Jong Il as the steadfast defender of the sovereignty and dignity of the country and nation and the lodestar of national reunification who clearly indicated its path.

W. A. Duminduwardane, chairman of the Sri Lanka Society for Self-Reliance Studies, said that Kim Jong Il bolstered up the military capability of the country in every way with his energetic Songun revolutionary leadership.

Yehia Zakaria Khairullah, chairman of the Egypt-Korea Friendship Association, and other speakers praised Kim Jong Il for devoting all his life to the country and nation and the prosperity of the generations to come.

Andre Lohekele Kalonda, chairman of the DR Congo National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, and Otete Gaston Mboyo, chairman of the DR Congo-Korea Friendship and Solidarity Association, said that Kim Jong Il's greatest exploit was that he turned the DPRK into a political, ideological and military power.

A congratulatory message to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the seminar held in DR Congo.
