They included meetings, seminars, receptions and book and photo exhibitions in Bangladesh, Bulgaria and Britain from Feb. 8 to 14.

On display at the venues of the events were photos dealing with the revolutionary careers and exploits of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and pictures showing the revolutionary activities of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

Also displayed there were their works, and books and photos introducing the successes registered by the Korean people.

The secretary general of the Bangladesh Jatiya Party said:

HE Kim Jong Il developed in depth the Juche idea founded by President Kim Il Sung and projected it as the guiding idea in the era of independence.

He strengthened and developed the Workers' Party of Korea into an ever-victorious, iron-willed party and the Korean People's Army into an invincible army.

Personages of the Bulgarian Communists Union and other political parties and organizations stressed that Kim Jong Il defended Korean-style socialism with a treasured sword of Songun and worked heart and soul to put an end to the tragedy of national division caused by foreign forces.

The general secretary of the Central Committee of the New Communist Party of Britain said that the successes made in the DPRK would be unthinkable without Kim Jong Il's Songun leadership.

A congratulatory message and letter to Kim Jong Un were adopted at the events held in Bulgaria and Britain.
