The secretary general of the Karachi Branch of the Pakistan-Korea Friendship Association said that Kim Jong Il's birth marked a great event of the Korean nation and a historic event which firmly guaranteed the succession to the cause of the Juche revolution.

The chairman of the Pakistani Organization for the Study of the Juche Idea referred to the fact that Kim Jong Il had long assisted President Kim Il Sung in his work, adding that he wisely led the overall affairs of the party, state and army, led the acute DPRK-U.S. nuclear confrontation to a shining victory and turned the DPRK into an impregnable fortress and military power.

The chairman of the Lahore organization for the study of the Juche idea in Pakistan praised Kim Jong Il as the genuine patriot and people's father who dedicated his all to the country and its people.

The chief editor of the Cambodian newspaper Pracheachon stressed that the Korean people firmly defended the country's sovereignty and brought about a fresh turning point in building a socialist power thanks to the guidance of Kim Jong Il.
