The message extended warm congratulations to Bashar Al-Assad and the friendly Syrian government and people on the 54th anniversary of the March 8 revolution in Syria.

The March 8 revolution was a historic event of great significance in the struggle of the Syrian people for defending the independence and security of the country and achieving the economic development and social progress under the leadership of the Baath Arab Socialist Party of Syria, the message said.

It once again extended firm support and solidarity to the Syrian government and people in their just struggle for frustrating the aggression and challenges of the hostile forces and defending the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country.
