Koreans in U.S. Demand Impeachment of Traitor Park Geun Hye and Halt to THAAD Deployment

Pyongyang, March 8 (KCNA) -- Koreans in the U.S. held a rally outside the south Korean consulate general in Los Angeles on March 4 in demand of impeachment of traitor Park Geun Hye and halt to THAAD deployment in south Korea, according to online newspaper of Koreans in the U.S. Minjok Thongsin.

A statement was read out at the rally.

The statement said the all-people action that started in south Korea in protest against Park Geun Hye-Choe Sun Sil scandal reached its 19th round that day.

The motion on impeachment of Park was passed through the "National Assembly" and those of the privileged class and tycoons involved in the scandal were put in custody as a result of strong public candlelight action, the statement recalled, adding:

However, those involved in the illegal interference in "state affairs" are denying their crimes and extension of the special investigation and began to run wild again, working hard for the deployment of THAAD.

Judges of the "Constitutional Court" should respond to the demand of the public for reviving social justice by deciding on the motion on impeaching Park.

The statement called for detaining Park, urged the NA to carry on the special investigation and voiced opposition to THAAD deployment in south Korea.
