Present at the meeting were Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, vice-chairman of the State Affaires Commission of the DPRK and vice-chairman of the C.C., WPK, Vice-Premier Jon Kwang Ho, Hong Son Ok, secretary general of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly, Jang Chun Sil, chairman of the Central Committee of the women's union, women officials, women workers and members of the women's union in Pyongyang.

Present there on invitation were overseas Korean women staying in the homeland, women of foreign embassies and missions of the international organizations here and foreign guests.

The reporter extended warm salute and congratulations to the women across the country on March 8 International Women's Day upon authorization by Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea, chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army.

The Korean women's movement is the Juche-oriented one as it was pioneered and has traversed the road of proud development under the guidance of the great leaders and the great Party.

President Kim Il Sung, with a deep insight into the importance of the issue of women in carrying out the cause of the revolution, gave an origin to the Juche-oriented Korean women's movement in the flames of the anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle and opened a new history of the movement by providing its glorious tradition.

Thanks to the loving care and trust of leader Kim Jong Il the Korean women could bloom as flowers of families, life and country by fully displaying their energies and enthusiasm even in the unprecedentedly trying days of history.

Today the Korean women's movement is greeting the greatest heyday in its development under the leadership of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

The country is shedding its rays as a harmonious great socialist family and a single-mindedly united power. Such stirring reality would be unthinkable without the Korean women's noble virtues and traits.

No women in the world are as proud and happy as the Korean women who enjoy a dignified life, holding Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il in high esteem as the eternal sun of Juche and having Kim Jong Un at the helm of the revolution.

The reporter called on the women to creditably fulfill their honorable responsibility and duty in the drive for achieving the victorious advance of the Korean women's movement and accomplishing the cause of the Juche revolution, holding aloft the banner of modeling the whole society on Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism under the leadership of Kim Jong Un.
