Present there were Choe Il Hong, vice-chairperson of the Central Committee of the Federation for the Care of the Elderly of Korea, officials of the federation and those concerned and aged women in the city.

Present there on invitation were women of foreign embassies and missions of international organizations here.

Speakers said at the meeting that all the aged were actively taking part in social activities according to their wishes and abilities thanks to the policy of the Workers' Party of Korea for the care of the elderly and thus making contributions to the prosperity of the country and fully enjoying their worthwhile lives.

Then an art performance was given by members of the Association of Culture and Arts of the Elderly of Korea and students of Rakwon Senior Middle School in Pothonggang District.

At the end of the performance, the participants watched aged women drawing paintings and talked to one another.
