S. Korea: Immediate Withdrawal of THAAD Urged

Pyongyang, March 10 (KCNA) -- Civic and social organizations of south Korea, including the Songju Committee for Struggle against THAAD Deployment, the Action for Checking THAAD Deployment and the Women's Action against THAAD Deployment, reportedly held an emergency press conference outside the ministry of defence on Tuesday to condemn the U.S. and the puppet authorities for unilaterally deploying THAAD in south Korea without any legal ground.

In a press release the organizations charged that the puppet defence ministry announced two launching pads and some equipment were brought to the Osan U.S. air-force base and all other THAAD systems would be deployed within one or two months.

This amounts to an undemocratic action of blatantly challenging the demand of the people for the cancellation of THAAD deployment, typical of Park Geun Hye and Choe Sun Sil's evils, they said.

They demanded an immediate stop to THAAD deployment and withdrawal of all the related equipment.
