Present at the meetings were officials of party, power and economic organs, working people's organizations, factories, enterprises, farms and universities and workers and youth and students in the provinces and city.

The appeal was read out and representatives of officials, workers, agricultural workers and intellectuals made speeches.

The speakers said all officials, party members and other people are filled with enthusiasm to demonstrate their honor as frontrunners of the ongoing Mallima movement in hearty response to the appeal.

They hardened the will to devotedly implement the behests of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and the Party policies given to their fields and units without fail like the people in Kwangwon Province.

They underlined the need for all sectors and units to conduct a bold campaign for increased production and creation by dint of self-reliance and self-development and thus attain earlier the goals set for this year, the year of key importance in carrying out the 5-year strategy for national economic development.

The meetings were followed by public processions.
