Speakers at the rally said that the forces pursuing sycophancy to big powers can never win the people who turned out in the candlelight actions.

It is the public demand after the impeachment of Park Geun Hye to eliminate those involved in the abuse of power and country-sellers and build a society where democracy, vital rights of the people and human rights are ensured and set up a "government" paving a path for independent reunification in the spirit of the Korean Nation Itself, they stressed.

They demanded the prompt abrogation of the notorious "Security Law" and immediate halt to THAAD deployment.
