During the games, it bagged 21 gold medals in four events including men's and women's ice hokey.

The team, in particular, won 11 gold medals out of 12 in short-track speed skating and produced several national record breakers and title holders in speed skating and figure skating.

It had secured the first place in the team standings of the Osandok Prize Sports Contests from 2014 to 2016 for its superiority in winter sports.
