Martin Lotscher, chairman of the Switzerland-Korea Committee, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee.

The committee set the celebration period from Mar. 10 to April 16 and decided to organize colorful political and cultural events praising the exploits performed by the President for liberating Korea, building a new society, achieving national reunification and accomplishing the global cause of independence.
