Korean Books Introduced in Peru in Praise of Great Men of Mt Paektu
Pyongyang, March 15 (KCNA) -- A ceremony of introducing Korean books was held at Kim Jong Suk Library in Peru in praise of peerlessly great men of Mt Paektu on Mar. 2 in the run-up to the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.

Displayed at the venue of the event were books "The Answer of the DPRK" and "The DPRK Seen from a New Angle" and collection of poems "A Shining Country in the East" written by Peruvian personages.

The chairman of the Peruvian preparatory committee for Gathering 2017-Praise to the Great Persons of Mt Paektu said that we know better than others the greatness of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, leaders of the Korean people, and we are followers of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism and boundlessly revere the great leaders, adding:

Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il founded and developed in depth the Juche idea, a revolutionary doctrine centered on man, and enforced original Songun politics and thanks to them, the DPRK turned into an independent power, country of single-hearted unity, satellite manufacturer and launcher and nuclear power.

Today's ceremony will offer an important occasion in giving wide publicity and adding luster to the careers and exploits of the great leaders.

The president of the Peruvian National Independent Movement for Free Voting's Union, the general secretary of the People's Front of Workers, Peasants and Students of Peru and the secretary general of the Peru-Korea Institute of Culture and Friendship told about what they saw during the visit to the DPRK and what made them write the books.

They praised Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il as outstanding great men and iron-willed commanders who glorified the era of independence.

They expressed support and solidarity to the Korean people's struggle for building a socialist power and achieving the country's reunification, saying that the Korean people's experience in building socialism is an example to be learned after by the world revolutionaries and progressives.

The authors inscribed their books to Kim Jong Suk Library.
